We’re putting this product onto the custom builds page to show off what we’ve done in the past. This snare was only available for a limited time and is now completely sold out. We can make a very similar snare with a beaded center and all specs the same, but we can’t do the exact same without the center bead. Sorry!
The time has finally come for us to release this limited edition Samy Morales Limited Edition 8×14 Steel Snare! This snare was developed for Samy to use on the 25th Anniversary recording with his band Miel San Marcos. We wanted to take Samy’s signature copper snare and create something a little more crisp with a very flashy all chrome look and that’s exactly what we did. It’s chrome over steel with no center bead, chrome hardware, diecast hoops, and Inde throw off, 42-strand snare wire, a 10-lug construction and Evans heads.
This is a very very limited release and we’re anticipating only being able to make 10 of them! Do no wait on this one or you’ll likely miss your chance at it. Please note that the “in stock” marking on this product listing is only to show how many snares are available for sale, these are not pre-made or ready to ship. We just needed to have some sort of inventory management on the listing to ensure we don’t sell more than we can make! Each snare will be made after the purchase takes place on our site so our standard 3-5 rule is in play here, however, we may be able to get these built and shipped sooner than normal. Don’t wait though, when they’re gone, they’re gone!
All of our drums have a build time of 3-5 weeks. We do everything possible to get drums built and sent your way quickly but please keep in mind that we are a small shop and we process builds in the order they are received. Occasionally, we have some of our best-selling models on hand and can process orders quicker than normal. Please contact us to see what we have on hand and ready if you’re in need of a rush order.
Flat rate shipping of $45 per order for all US customers. Order multiple drums and save since the flat rate is order based and will not change based on number of drums in your order. We offer free shipping for orders placed by churches and schools of ministry. For this option please contact us and we will supply you with a free shipping code once we have confirmed you in our system. Must be shipped to the church address listed online, no exceptions. We ship internationally too, just contact us for a shipping quote. All international customers are responsible for taxes/duties/fees their country charges.
