First off, have you seen any of Johnathan’s Youtube videos, he’s an insane drummer and his style is off the charts. He’s currently playing for Austin French and needs a lot of versatility from his snares. Live recordings, constant touring, studio sessions; this drummer does it all. Our main goal on this snare was to create something that fits with Johnathan’s vibe and gives him all the sounds he needs. So we finish a 1.3mm beaded brass shell with matte black, put some tube lugs on it, add an Inde throw off, and toss some diecast hoops on it, and there you have a fantastic sounding snare with nearly endless sound possibilities.
At Vertical we have a heart for giving back and blessing churches and Johnathan is very on board with that mission. We wanted to find a way to use this pro model to bless others so we’re doing something really special. For every 7 of the Johnathan Cristan pro model snares that we sell, we’re giving one to a church in need. We’re letting Johnathan pick the churches and then we send it directly to them. Our drums are all semi-custom, letting you choose options for hardware and finishes. Because of this all of our drums have a build time of 3-5 weeks. We do everything possible to get drums built and sent your way quickly but please keep in mind that we are a small shop and we process builds in the order they are received. Occasionally, we have some of our best-selling models on hand and can process orders quicker than normal. Please contact us to see what we have on hand and ready if you’re in need of a rush order.
Flat rate shipping of $45 per order for all US customers. Order multiple drums and save since the flat rate is order based and will not change based on number of drums in your order. We offer free shipping for orders placed by churches and schools of ministry. For this option please contact us and we will supply you with a free shipping code once we have confirmed you in our system. Must be shipped to the church address listed online, no exceptions.
